The Most Interesting Trucks on the Road

Most Interesting Trucks on the Road

It’s no secret that truck drivers take pride in their trucks. They spend so much time in their vehicles that they feel like extensions of their bodies. As a result, drivers often feel it’s important to make their trucks look great.

At Paramount Freight Systems, we pride ourselves in being one of the up-and-coming transportation companies in North America. We’ve seen a lot of interesting trucks in our time, and with that being said, we want to share some of the most interesting ones with you.

Here are some of the most interesting trucks on the road.

The Legend of the Black Pearl

This 2000 Freightliner Classic XL is piloted by Bob and Shelly Brinker in Grayling, Mich. The Brinkers are huge fans of the 2003 film, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, which is where the truck’s name is derived from. No wonder it’s a favorite on the custom show truck circuit!

Super Freak

Although this truck has been named after a pretty racy song, the 2005 Peterbilt 379 with a 2012 Wilson hopper is the kind you’d be proud to take home to mother. Brian Davis and Davis Brothers Trucking of Owensville, Ind. always name their trucks after song titles, hence this tribute to the 1982 Rick James classic. Besides the paitn job, all customizations were done in the company’s own shop.

The Lactose Limousine

Another custom truck circuit favorite, the Lactose Limousine is a 2013 Peterbilt 389 owned by Mies & Sons Trucking. This dairy-themed beauty is part of a small fleet that hauls milk. Wouldn’t the cows be happy to know their product is getting such fine treatment?

A Dream Come True

This is one Texas truck that lives up to its name. A Dream Come True, owned by David Schnautz of Pasadena, is a 1981 blue Kentworth W900A. This beautiful truck has gotten all kinds of positive press—after looking at it, it’s no wonder the truck is such a hit.

The Wildside

Robert Moneypenny of Shawnee, Okla. owns this one-of-a-kind 1988 orange and black Peterbilt 379. We all have a “wild side,” and this truck pays homage to that notion. Pretty cool, isn’t it?
